Van's sells avionics packages for the ELSA RV-12iS via this form. If you are building EAB, you may also place your order here, assuming you are ordering one of our standard packages. Note that SLSA customers should order their avionics through the SLSA sales ordering process.
For avionics kit orders, you may make your required 25% deposit with a credit card. The remainder of the payment must be made via check, money order or wire transfer.
Important Shipping Information:
When you complete this order form and submit it, our Kit Order Department will receive the information and contact you to arrange any details, as well as collection of your deposit. They'll be able to help you with any questions.
The RV-12iS can be configured with either the fuel-injected Rotax 912 iS Sport (most common), or the carbureted Rotax 912 ULS.
If ordering the ULS engine, you may only order the Dynon avionics suite.
We need to know which engine you're installing in order to properly build and configure your panel and instruments.
You'll choose your specific package options in a few minutes. To start, we just need to know what brand avionics you're installing in your RV-12iS: Dynon or Garmin?
NOTE: If you are installing a Rotax 912 ULS engine, you must order the Dynon avionics package.

Options:
Note that the current Light Sport Aircraft standards (ELSA and SLSA) preclude operation in Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC). While aircraft licensed under the LSA standard may be operated "in the system" under Instrument Flight Rules, such as in a training environment, certification as LSA currently prohibits IMC operations. Also, note that EAB-licensed aircraft are not restricted in this fashion.
This package is available only for RV-12iS aircraft equipped with the Rotax 912iS Sport engine. The 912 ULS engine does not deliver the electrical capacity required to support this package.
Specify which COM radio you require for your installation. Van's provides a Garmin GTR200B COM radio for installation in the USA and countries where 25kHz channel spacing is standard and a TSO'ed radio is not required.
If your country of registration/operation requires either 8.33kHz channel spacing -or- a TSO'ed radio, choose the Trig TY96 COM radio option.
Both the Garmin GTR200B and the Trig TY96 include a built-in stereo intercom.
Please specify which COM radio you require for your installation, and we will start configuring your avionics kit package. Van's provides two COM radio options, each with a different specific application:
Both the Garmin GTR200B and the Trig TY96 include a built-in stero intercom.
