This form will allow you to choose which kit(s) you want to order and to specify options. The price of the items you select will update each time you make a choice.
Note: We offer our "preview" plans on a USB stick-type drive (for a charge) as well as on our web store for anyone who creates a store account and registers their kit serial number on the store (all of which is free). If you are looking for only the USB plans, please click here to find them on our web store, where you can order them as a stand-alone item.
When you fill out this form, it calculates the estimated total price of your kit selections and the required 35% deposit.
When you complete and submit this order form, our Kit Order Department will receive your order and will email you a confirmation. That email will include instructions directing you to reach out to our Kits Team to arrange any details as well as the collection of your 35% deposit if you have not already included it on this form. They'll be able to help you with any questions.
Note: In June 2023, all RV-10 wheel/brake system components were moved from the finish kit to the fuselage kit in order to accommodate the available options (Grove or Beringer). As a result, the price of each kit was adjusted to reflect the components now included in each kit.
Tail/Empennage Kit
Includes: Electric Elevator Trim
Installation kit and servo motor. Operates independently of autopilot.
Wing Kit
Includes:
Fuel Float Sending Units
Floating mechanism senses fuel level in wing tanks. Works with Van's gauges as well as many other resistance-type gauges/EFIS systems. Fits the standard cover plate in each wing. Includes two units, enough for both wing tanks.
Electric Aileron Trim
Installation kit and servo motor. Operates independently of autopilot.
Wing panel 80% completed at the factory. All parts primed before assembly. Fuel tanks finished, ailerons, flaps ready to install. Builder must rivet one wing skin, install wingtip, controls, fairings. Lights, fuel senders not included.
Note that this QB add-on cost is in addition to Standard Wing Kit price.
Fuselage Kit
Note: In June 2023, the wheel/brake components were moved from the finish kit to the fuselage kit in order to accommodate the available options (Grove or Beringer). As a result, the price of each kit was adjusted to reflect the components now included in each kit.
Grove wheels and brakes (and associated parts) are supplied as the standard RV-10 kit components. You may opt to change to the Beringer wheels and brakes system, with or without a parking brake. The Beringer kits also include the required hoses and other components supplied by AS Flightlines.
Note: Beringer kits do not include tires, and are intended for use with tubeless tires, which must be ordered separately from another source.
Fuselage 75% assembled at factory. All parts primed before assembly. Builder must complete interior of cabin, instrument panel and forward deck.
Note that this QB add-on cost is in addition to Standard Fuselage Kit price.
Finishing Kit
Available only for use with the Lycoming (I)O-540 engine.

Depending on when you ordered your kit(s), you may or may not already have wheels and brakes in your possession or on order. Please let us know, so we can make sure you're all set when you receive your kits.

Please provide any notes, details or requests that will help us understand and process your order. For example, if you'll be picking up from Van's yourself (in which case please review our will-call policies) or some other detail you want to make us aware of. Note that we do not allow additions to or deletions of items from kit orders. Crating, Handling and Prep Fees
Note: Van's no longer charges a separate crating fee, as we've determined our costs are very close to identical regardless of how kits are packaged, shipped or handled.
Customer Information
Your kit serial number was assigned with the empennage kit. If you don't have one yet, just enter "NONE" in this field and we will assign you one. If you're not sure, we hope you'll look it up as it helps us process your order as quickly as possible. But if absolutely necessary you can tell us you forgot, and we will look for it by hand.
Van's can send you a special link that will let you register for a FREE six-month membership to the Experimental Aircraft Association. EAA provides lots of great resources for builders and pilots that we know you will find useful. We believe that all RV builders and owners should be EAA members! If you choose "Yes" here, we will submit your information to EAA so they can sign you up for a new membership. You're eligible as long as you have not been an active EAA member in the previous 24 months.
Builders who have completed and registered/flown an RV airplane in the past are eligible for our "repeat offender" discount. Please provide the below information if you've built one or more RVs in the past.
Please provide the serial number(s) of your completed aircraft. In the past, we have also called this a "builder number." We will use this information to look up your prior build.

This is a summary of the terms and conditions under which you agree to order this kit. The complete sales order agreement, which we will send you for signature, will contain all of the terms and conditions that apply.
1. Kit prices are subject to change, up to the date of the kit final payment request.
2. A 35% deposit must accompany kit orders to complete the order. The amount of the deposit is shown on this web page when you select your kit(s) and option(s). If the deposit is not received by Van's Aircraft within 15 days of submitting this order request form, the pending order will be cancelled without further notice.
3. Customer-initiated delays will result in a price increase to the then-current price in effect at the time of shipping.
4. No additions to or deletions from kit orders will be accepted.
5. Kits must be paid in full before they will be shipped.
6. Payment in U.S. funds: check, money order, or Visa/Mastercard/Discover. We do not accept American Express or other cards.
7. Kit/plans orders must be in writing (submission of this form, mail, email or FAX).
8. Prices are ex-works Aurora, Oregon.
9. Freight charges are prepaid or collect, depending on carrier and are not inclued in the kit price.
10. Van’s Aircraft, Inc. cannot assist in certifying kits outside the USA.
