Yuba Sutter RV-12 LSA Teen Build’s First Flight! | Yuba City, CA RV-12 #121004

After 30 months of Friday evening build sessions, N112YS had a discrete and uneventful first flight, with PAP test flight one completed by pilot Dallan Reese. A short public inaugural flight gave local supporters the chance to witness the building accomplishment of the seven high school students responsible for its construction, and also completed the AOA calibration. Student builders were Jason Kolb, Silas Foster, Drew Gutierrez, Logan Sampson, Tiffany Chao, Stanley Ward, and John Kroeger. Lead mentor was RV-8 builder and owner Dave Lane, with help from Jeff Ebey, Bill Kolb, Luke Miller, and Ken Hall.
