Scott Wentz’ New RV-10 | Grayslake, IL RV-10 #40325

Congrats to Scott on the completion and first flight of his new R-10! Scott writes to tell us:

It was a brisk Saturday December 7th morning at KENW with a few friends and most of my immediate family present for the first flight of N847CS. The plane was off the ground in what felt like only 2 seconds and flew incredibly. I’ve already completed two flights and can’t wait to fly the rest of my Phase-I test flying so I can share the joy of being in our family’s new RV-10. I am so thankful to so many who have helped, provided technical insight, and some incredible ingenuity. The list truly is far too long to cover in this story, but for those who might read this and I haven’t thanked yet, THANK YOU! Most of all, I need to thank my beautiful wife, Cheryl, and my children (Elisa, Karis, Michael, and Emma) for putting up with over 2200 hours of my absence during build times and probably another 1000 hours of research and shopping.
