Raymond Eaton’s RV-6 | Fort Lauderdale, Florida RV-6 #22917

Congratulations to Raymond on the completion of his RV-6. He writes:

It’s difficult to explain why it took me nearly 27 years to get here but my commitment to completing this project never waivered. Just as many RV buliders experience, life events contributed to a lengthy build. But along the way, this project actually provided me with a tremendous amount of much needed therapy and might be the only reason I am sane today! N6LV finally took to the skies over KFXE on June 27, 2021. The plane flew even better than expected during the 1.5 hour flight. Because RV’s are so predictable, I chose to complete the painting prior to first flight and I don’t regret that decision at all. Flies hands and feet off, trim is perfect. Looking forward to more phase 1 flight testing. Airplane is equipped with Lycoming AEIO 320 with several performance enhancements, C/S prop, TruTrak A/P.
