On April 21st, 2009 I attended my first Sun-n-Fun and took my first ever flight in an RV. I returned back to the Van’s tent and ordered a tail kit. Fast forward 12 years and 9 months to Jan 7th, 2022. My project was finally complete and I flew my own RV-7 for the first time. The flight could not have been better and she flew great with no issues. Words can’t express the experience of first flight in an aircraft that you have poured your blood, sweat, and tears in for over a decade. I’ve got almost 100 hours in her already and she does not disappoint. Thanks Van’s for a great kit that enabled this first time builder to realize a dream of building and flying my own airplane.
