Mercury Bay Student Aircraft Trust RV-12 | Whitianga, New Zealand RV-12 #121062

Congrats to the team of Mercury Bay students on the recent completion and first flight of their new RV-12! They write:

It was with elation that RV-12 S/N: 121062, ZK-MBB, took to the skies on Saturday, 21st November before a crowd of smiling onlookers to wish her well. This aircraft – the fourth to be built by the students at Mercury Bay High School – was the biggest challenge for the team to date as we lost three of our key mentors during the construction. It was fitting that these three men were remembered with a dedication sign-written on the side of the aircraft.
