Congrats to John, who writes:

I chose to do the first flight myself, and following the application process to the LAA, I was granted permission, so on the 22 April 2023 GSJPC flew for the first time. Throughout the 30 min flight she flew as advertised there were no problems except minor snags such as the idle still being slightly low. The required flight testing program is now complete and will shortly be submitted to the LAA for the full permit issue. I have loved every minute of the entire process and must pass on a huge thank you to all at Van’s particularly those in builder support who put up with all my silly questions, would I do it again? Of course I would, the only problem is finance!!! Attached are some photos from the 1st flight and that is an RV grin.
