Greg wrote in to let us know about the first flight of his new RV-7:

This has been the most rewarding experience of my life. What a fantastic flying airplane. This RV-7 is my first build, and won’t be my last. It’s powered by a Barrett Precision Engine built IO-390-X running dual electronic ignition and fuel injection from EFII. It has an IFR quick build panel from Advanced Flight Systems with the IFD-540. Additional features include full inverted fuel/oil, smoke system, A/C from Airflow Systems, custom built wing fairings, carbon canopy skirt and carbon plenum with a Sam James Cowl. Interior from Classic Aero. The plan is to eventually wrap the aircraft with 3M 1080P vinyl.
