“8 years, 4 months, and 12 days ago a young married couple launched their dream of building an airplane. Today our RV-7 took flight for the first time. Soaring to 4000ft over the fields of Lincoln, CA N759AQ flew beautifully. Thanks to Dan Masys and Bruce Estes of EAA Chapter 1541 for all their help and support; to Elliot Seguin, my friend and test pilot, for his professionalism and care; to Shadie Tanious who spent years building with me; and most of all thanks to my beautiful bride Raquel without whom I never would have had the confidence to start, patience to continue, and focus to finish.”
