Congratulations to Glen on his new RV-7! He writes:

I thoroughly enjoyed building the aircraft. I learned so much and gained so many new skills. There was frustration but more often a huge sense of accomplishment. Much of the enjoyment of the build came from having an incredibly supportive wife. She encouraged me to start the project, drove plenty of rivets and always showed an interest in my challenges or accomplishments.

The first flight was absolutely amazing. What a fantastic design. I sincerely appreciate the support from Simon Hitchen in helping me prepare the aircraft for inspection and flight as well as acting as PIC for the first flight. Thanks also to the Van’s staff for their help and advice and to the gang at Oshawa Airport.
