Congratulations Ivan!

One day after receiving its airworthiness certificate from DAR Jon Ross, our RV-7 took flight for the first time on 9/13. The first flight went off without a hitch. The airplane flew just like it was supposed to- fast and straight! And boy is it fun to fly!
It is a VFR machine with a factory Lycoming IO-360, fixed pitch prop and single-screen Dynon glass panel. My wife and riveting-buddy Susan and I built it over a period of 9 1/2 years in our garage including the pretty paint job (her design). The build was fun from start to finish, and we are proud of how it came out. Now the fun shifts from building to flying! Thanks Van!
