Changes to the procedure for aileron alignment in assembly instructions

  REASON FOR REVISION:

  The instructions for aligning the ailerons were improved for the RV-10. These instructions are being moved into the RV-14 instructions to simplify and produce a better result in the neutral point alignment of the flaps and ailerons. Additional corrections were pulled in as part of updating the section for the improved instructions for the ailerons.

  REVISION DESCRIPTION / NEW DOCUMENTATION:

  • KAI Page 23-06 REV 1: In Step 3, ST4130-.035×7/8×22” was WD-1014PC.
  • KAI Page 23-07 REV 1: Dimension “1 1/64 [25.8mm]” was “1 1/32 [25.8mm]”.
  • KAI Page 23-10 REV 2: Removed Figure 2. Replaced Step 2 and Step 3 with instructions from RV-10 KAI Page 23-9 Steps 4 and 5. Removed note referencing W-00026 Alignment Template as it is no longer needed. Removed reference to W-00026 in Step 4.
