In response to multiple instances of builders drilling the holes in the flange of HS-00902-1 to #30 (decreasing the edge distance to an unacceptable amount and requiring the builder to obtain new parts), the flange height was increased to provide an edge distance of 0.25”.
Additionally, there have been instances of the rear spar being installed upside-down. Steps to help the builder prevent this were added to the plans pages.

- KAI Page 08-10 REV 1: Added callout to mark the top flange for identification purposes.
- KAI Page 08-12 REV 3: Added statement to existing ‘CAUTION’ note to make sure ‘TOP’ is visible on each spar on the same side.
