TruTrak serves the experimental aircraft market with the broadest autopilot product line and the most features available. Software solutions to flight control and user interface combined with modern surface-mount electronics, solid-state gyros, and digital servo actuators makes these the most reliable and smallest units possible.

All of the autopilots listed below are designed to be either installed during kit construction or retrofit in flying aircraft. Some builders have requested we supply the "servos only" to simplify the installation during construction and possibly save initial cost. However, due to the ease of installation in completed aircraft, we have decided not to offer the "servos only" option but instead will make available only the complete units.

All electro-mechanical devices "age" and because of the rapidity of advances in technology in this arena, we strongly advise that you do not purchase too far in advance of use.

Airspeed indicators come in 3 1/8 inch and 2 1/4 inch format. There are airspeed indicators and true airspeed indicators that allow you to enter the outside air temperature and the altitude, thereby indicating the TRUE airspeed. Most airspeed indicators have range markings with flap speeds (white), structural cruise speeds (green), maneuvering speed (blue), smooth air cruise speed (yellow) and Vne (red line). Some have internal lighting. Different aircraft have different speeds, so be sure and select the one for your aircraft.
